A prestudy shows how much the customer has to gain from the Proplate Totalcut Concept

Proplate Prestudy is just as natural a part of the process as other planning and production. It is important to us that the customer feels secure in the decisions that are made. It is also important to be able to measure the effects of a decision such as introducing the Proplate
Totalcut Concept. There is often tremendous potential in improved plate utilization, more efficient logistical solutions and streamlined administration. The Proplate Totalcut Concept also provides an overview that reduces uncertainty surrounding overall plate management – something that can be hard to gauge without analysis.

In a Proplate Prestudy we analyze the customer’s present process flow with regard to number of subcontractors, plate procurement, plate utilization, number of items in different dimensions, transport, order management and other factors. Then, alongside the customer,
Proplate draws up a proposal on how things could work according to the Proplate Totalcut Concept.The result of the prestudy is a concrete proposal that indicates effects, preconditions and a possible approach for implementing the Proplate Totalcut Concept.
